Dr Windom is a wonderful vet and shows loving care to my animals

To summarize, my fiancé and I came to this place because the cost was inexpensive and we needed a procedure done on our cat. But we ended up spending much more money just to fix this vet's mistakes.

The people who run the business are hopefully going to retire soon. They treated me very badly.

I will never, ever take my animals here again. My fiancé and I had this man spay our cat and we have had problems ever since. The place was very unsanitary. There was dirt all over the floor and it looked very disorganized. We should have left right then but we stayed because we needed the procedure done and he was inexpensive and we were short on cash. Staying was a big mistake. I think the spay took, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was that the vet did not stitch up her muscle and skin correctly. She had a gaping hole in her belly and her wound became badly infected. It also took her more than 24 hours to fully come out of anesthesia. When we took her to an emergency animal hospital to get her wound fixed, they determined that he used cattle anesthetic on her. Our cat is 10 months old and weighs around 8 pounds and he used cattle anesthetic. The vets at the animal hospital said it was a miracle she didn't have any brain damage. They also had to open her back up so they could cut out a bunch of infected fiberous tissue and properly stitch her back up again.

tl;dr:

To add insult to injury, after we got her home, his secretary called me and told me that our cat was absolutely covered in fleas and accused me of having a flea-infested home. We inspected her fur and she had maybe 3 or 4 fleas on her. We are assuming these fleas came from his office since we have never had a flea problem before and we always put flea treatment on her. So, they accused us of having a flea problem in our home in order to cover up the fact that they have one in their office. That's not a very good business practice, in my opinion.

The place is unsanitary, the service is terrible, they caused more problems than they solved.
